OUT THERE: Ontario man captures unidentified “morphing object” over skies of Canada

A Canadian UFO enthusiast has captured in pictures what he claims is a “strange, large black object” that proceeded to morph and change shape before his eyes over the skies of Scarborough, Canada.

Paul Shishis, the man behind the mysterious photographs, said he witnessed the changing object on September 17, 2009 at approximately 12:53 p.m.

“It was only about a 100 yards away, at a height of between 300-500 feet,” Shishis recently shared via email correspondence with Big 3 News.

Describing himself as shocked, Shishis revealed not one, but three sightings on that Thursday.

“I can tell you, something is definitely happening around me,” he said.

According to a 2008 Canadian UFO Survey, published by UFOlogy Research of Manitoba, researchers reported a 27% increase of UFO sightings compared to 2007. The independent, non-profit research organization said the 1,004 reports of unidentified flying objects were startling.

“We were amazed to discover this many UFO sightings had been reported in 2008,” said Chris Rutkowski, co-author of the study. “This is unprecedented.”

The Canadian Federal Government currently directs all UFO sightings to Rutkowski’s team.

However, the group concluded that only about 10% of reported sightings were labeled as unexplained after a thorough review. Less than one percent of that number were classified as “high quality unknowns.” Hundreds of eyewitness photos and videos of UFOs in Canada were posted on the internet.

“But most of these were stars, planets and aircraft rather than alien spacecraft,” said Rutkowski.

Shishis has had experiences with unidentified flying objects for many years in Canada. According to interviews with Jerry Pippin and Brian Vike, Shishis decided to go public with dramatic accounts of shapes, odd lights, and moving craft in the skies.

Shishis explained how this particular day started out slightly earlier than normal — around 5:30 a.m. — and he was waking up drinking some tea outside on his deck. It was then that Shishis began to ponder what unseen forces may be present.

“Here’s the scary part,” he recalled. “I thought in my mind, ‘Show me a sign if you’re watching me.’”

Almost instantly he witnessed single and successive white flashes within a span of seconds.

“I was in shock,” he said. “I silently made a request and then it happened.”

But the real payday came later in the afternoon while Shishis was at work in Scarborough. He had stepped outside just before 1 p.m when he sighted the morphing object.

“I looked up and saw a strange, large, black object heading directly towards me. I then pulled my camera from my pocket and started filming.”

Shishis was able to record the object as it approached from the east, then as it appeared to open up.

“It looked like a long sheet of some material that was approximately 10 to 15 feet in length,” he observed.

Whereupon he got into his car and attempted to follow it through what he called a maze of industrial streets, but could no longer see the object.

When he decided to return for lunch a few minutes later, another or the same object appeared approximately 500 yards away.

“I then saw a brilliant, white object hovering to the north of me,” he said. “This one appeared to be about a quarter-mile away, and maybe a half mile in altitude.”

Shishis was able to capture more photos and a video clip.
