Super Bowl seizure: Ten live-streaming websites seized for copyright infringement of sporting events

Ten popular video streaming websites were seized this week as part of a copyright infringement crackdown by the U.S. Southern District Attorney in New York just prior to this year’s Super Bowl event.

According to a search warrant unsealed Wednesday in federal court, the websites provided access to a variety of pirated and illegal sporting and pay-per-view events…
