Ben enjoys life and helping others...

Ben, aka PC-Guru, was born in 1965 in Louisville Kentucky, and within three months his family moved to a small horse and buggy town in Southern Ohio. Loving the quiet neighborhoods and knowing everyone makes for a great place to live.

Taught at an early age that “You Are What You Eat”, Ben constantly was caught swallowing loose change hoping to be filthy rich. Little did he know that there was “No Refund” on that deposit!

Ben has spent most of his life living and building his ties to his community, and making sure to hit all the stops along the way.

An Eagle Scout, Master Mason, nearly 24 years as a Volunteer Firefighter, and almost 23 years in the Computer Industry, he feels that he has accomplished a lot in so little time. He credits his success and doing his absolute best at anything he tries to his mother and father — the way they raised their three children instilled a very firm foundation for success.

Now, Ben is just wanting to take the time to sit back and relax, let his hair down so to speak and do all the little things he loves. Married and still very happy with his wife, Robin, after 12 years, without having had children they both find a lot of free time on their hands. He loves comedy of any shape and size, and has always wanted to be the funny man in the room. Unfortunately, even though voted class clown his senior year of high school, he tends to be shy in crowds or at the center of attention.

Ben likes to write a little here and there, but no one in his family really knows that. He loves hiding in his basement and messing with all of his computers, maybe playing a game or two, breaking out his Fender Stratocaster or Telecaster and making very ugly music, or just kicking back and watching a movie with some popcorn.

Ben says that he has spent half of his current lived years helping others and giving of his time, now he just wants to be lazy and just sleep in if he wants to.

Ben is currently employed at a world class computer sales company as the Site Network Administrator, and also runs a personal at-home computer “sales and service” business.

Big 3 News welcomes Ben to our family of contributors!
