In State of Union speech, Pres. Obama urges cooperation with Republicans, Tea Party: "We will move forward together, or not at all"

Speaking to a full chamber of Congress — with politicians seated among each other instead of in their traditional party sections — President Obama on Tuesday said the worst of the economic recession was over and urged Republicans, Democrats and Tea Party members alike to work together to solve the nation’s problems.

“That’s what the people who sent us here expect of us,” Obama said in the nationally-televised State of the Union speech.
